Our Howick Village Trip

Please read our stories about our Howick Historical Village trip. 

We went to Howick Historical Village to learn about changes in technology and different needs and wants that people who lived in the olden days would have had.

We had a great trip and learnt lots of information.

Last week we went on the bus to Howick Village I went with Tanya. I made bread.  Then we put the dough in the pot.  Then we went to see the trunk.  I saw a ship.  I felt happy. I got a spoon to stir the pot from the trunk. Then I played with the toys.  They were made out of wood.  I felt happy I learnt lots.

Last week we went to Howick Village.  We made butter in the butter churn.  Then we made bread.  We looked at a trunk.  We looked at the things in the box.  I carried the pail and there were irons.  Then in the toy room the toys they made them themselves.

Last week I felt happy.  We went on the bus to Howick Village.  Then we went to make some bread.  It went in the fire stove.  Then we played with the toys.  The made the toys out of wood.  They slept in tents and they slept in houses made of sticks and they slept in mud houses in the olden days.  I had a great day.

Last week we went around the Howick Village, our whole junior school.  We made butter milk.  We made bread using the butter milk.  We played with the toys.  The toys were made out of wood.  We looked around.  I felt happy.

We went into Howick Village with the bus.   We made the butter with the handle we turned.  We made bread.  The whole junior school made bread.  We played with some train toys.  We looked around the village.
