Our trip to Howick Village.
In Term 2 our CBL is Needs & Wants and Change. We went to Howick Historical Village to see how they did things in the past & the way we do them now. We looked at technological changes. We played the old toys, went into tents & houses that people lived in and sat on a cart that people travelled on. We made butter in a churn & looked at an old fridge called a Safe.We baked the bread we made in a wood stove. We even pumped water out of the ground!
