Term 1 - We looked at Minibeats and Survival on our Planet. We looked specifically at how NZ species of insects have survived.

We even made our own insect homes and observed the lives of an insect over a week. It was really interesting to see what they got up too... or how they had escaped out of their homes!!

We were allowed to gather insects from our school environment... but no weta!!
