THE HOME SCHOOL COMMUNICATION BOOK

The Home School Communication Book (HSCB) replaces homework, and commenced Term 1, 2009.

HSCB was introduced after extensive consultation with parents, staff, students and the Board of Trustees over a 3 term timeframe.

At Huapai District School we believe that:

1. Home time is a time for family, rest, relaxation, fun, sports, cultural and other interests.

2. Students and teachers need to be fresh and focussed for their learning time at school.

3. Communicating learning and school information to home is essential.

4. Sharing today's learning and preparing for tomorrow will benefit child, home and school.
