Before and After-School Care

School’s Out

School’s Out was established at Huapai District School in May 1997. A Programme also operates at Waimauku School.

At School’s Out we are committed to providing excellence in the provision of school age child care. The Programme aims to provide a safe and enjoyable environment while attempting to encompass individual needs, cultures and interests. The atmosphere is relaxed with the necessary boundaries to ensure safety.

School’s Out has been approved by CYF’s and OSCAR subsidies are available from Winz.

After School Care(ASC)

Based in the School Hall bookings are essential and an enrolment form must be completed prior to a child attending. We are open all school days from 3pm to 6pm and are available when school finishes early. All children enrolled on a particular day will be accounted for unless notified otherwise. New younger children can be collected from their classroom. Our trained staff will supervise your child’s homework and provide a variety of activities including, cooking, crafts, games, sports, music & drama as well as supervised free play. Afternoon tea is provided.

Before School Care (BSC)

We are open all school days from 7am to 8.30am. Children are sent to their classroom at 8.30am and new entrants or new younger children can be walked to their classroom. A variety of activities are also provided in an easy going relaxed environment.

Holiday Programmes

Holiday Programmes will run all school holidays and enrolment forms and costs will be available 2 weeks prior. Enrolments are open to all schools and OSCAR subsidies are available.
