The following steps outline the process used to enrol a child in the Montessori Class.
  • Email montessori@hds.school.nz with an expression of interest.
  • Parents will be invited to observe the class/meet on zoom to understand how we learn and answer any questions you may have.
  • Parents to fill out the enrolment form. In case of being out of the zone, another form needs to be filled out. Our Enrolments team will be in touch if this is required.
  • If the application is out of the zone, we will process it through the School Board to get acceptance.
  • Upon acceptance from the Board, the new families meet with the Principal to understand the commitment to the Montessori Programme and get to know the family.
  • Successful applicants are advised by email.
  • Transition visits for a half and a full-day is scheduled for the child prior to the start date.
  • Montessori Handbook and welcome package sent home.
